Word to be “always turning”?
I’m sorry for the phrasing of the question, but I’m not sure how to put it in a good way.
Example:
Let’s say we know by a fact that Smith is worked as a police officer. Police officers have very small salaries (by legal standards). I know also what Smith should have done to have better pay: how could she have been a cop, and why? Should government cut police officers’ positions on contracts or raise firefighting salaries? How or why not?
I
don’t think it’s correct to say that Smith is unbiased/non-biased in this scenario, but to say he is biased is misleading. Can you explain that what is true? If I were to tell a potential officer that Smith thinks the government should lower police salaries and raise firemen salaries and that Smith is biased, the conclusion would probably be that Smith is a fireman.
What is Smith?
How can I help?
If Smith is paid a low wage, in order to allow another public servant to get a pay increase, I would say that he is: A) radically unbiased B) highly altruistic C) off his nut.
John S. Smith was very objective to Smith. He is in his own interest in answering the question, and is answering the questions of others. He is answering with honesty and transparency.

Does your bias only indicate lack of objectivity or any other direction it lies in? Sure, we tend to be biased in such a way as to favor ourselves or favor those who are like us, but we don’t have to be.
Why did I use very slight degree of bias during this observation? If I had to pick one word, maybe counterbiased. If that’s too “newly coined” for you, then maybe unexpectedly biased or counterintuitively biased or against his own interest.
Smith is an interest in the situation in any way. See “interest”, sense 4 @ OxfordTickers.com. com.
Is it still likely that all of the arguments in this question are
misinterpreted, but just as misleading as some claims are made in the past?
John Smith (Tony) said he is a fan, if not a defender of Smith. If he is a fan, why? He supports the increase in salaries for firemen though he is not a fireman.

How can he speak against his interest? In Legalese you’ll also hear against interest with no possessive, for example, a declaration against interest is a statement that is ( as Wikipedia puts it ): “so prejudicial to the person making it that she would not have made the statement unless she believed the statement was true” ; for example, a statement that also proves that the statement is true. For another
and a sentence with no possessive, I’d like a similar but less familiar version which could take the possessive to
