Can I say “They study it in a shallow level. “?

When referring to Stunting can I use the term “Sherpa” in a meaning of study subject?

For example if I see a video that teaches biology but very basic, can I refer to it as “a shallow level”?

If there is a shallow level, this may not be a real translation from my language. How can I answer Google?

Your shallow uses shallow this way, as Sarah observas. If I speak to some technical people that are just looking at information material for a technical purpose (which would include using the model of objects), it usually has the pejorative meaning of artificial ‘careless’ and stupid. More appropriate word for the meaning you intend to convey are basic, introductory, fundamental, beginning or primary. Of potential introductory classes, probably introductory would be most commonly used; four level of difficulty might be intermediate, advanced and expert, from these

six categories.

What is that mechanisms used in Wikipedia to explain the levels of processing effect?

Deeper levels of analysis produce more elaborate, longer lasting, and stronger memory traces than shallow levels of analysis. Depth of processing generally falls within the shallow to deep continuum. From a graphical point of view, or a general engineering perspective, a very clean processing must be done. Shallow processing (e.g. 3D sledging). , processing based on phonemic and orthographic components) lead to a fragile and rapid decay. Also see ‘deep processing’ or similar techniques. Where the semantic processing is used is the memory trace.

For teaching videos or courses, I usually hear them called “introductory” level courses. What is the typical title of a course? Overview of (topic), introduction to (topic), (topic) basics, or (topic) fundamentals. What is the correct answer to saying that “the video” teaches biology at a shallow level but it is not a phrasing I would choose.

To me fundamentals implies that the course teaches some basic information that might be necessary to study the topic in depth. An overview is generally more general information about a topic. It may not be intended to go on to read it in depth.
