Why did I use past tense?

answers “Did anybody say something?” is an incorrect sentence grammatically, but I don’t get why.
How can I learn English like this?
Using an adjectival verb when adding a does’s not or did’s‘ to a sentence, the main verb returned to it’s base verb (V1 instead of V2). Why do I feel
like she didn’t like
me?
And not
Did he go to the gym?
Why can’t I just do something really wrong with myself?
