Why I say “Are you open today?”?

When do you use “are” or “do” to ask a question? Why don’t some restaurants open on holiday?

What are you open today?

Or

Do you open today?

Why is it so hard to understand the Bible?

Is your day off today? Is “Are you in good standing right now?” Can

someone open a box today? Does sound like ” Will you open today?” I’d

probably ask first thing if I told a business I cared only about their business. If I waited for a business, I’d most likely

ask the same question at the same time.
