Why are some problems already solved by others?

I rarely come across that term. Why could I have misunderstood it? This is from an article. And the term is somewhat like “Collective” or “crowd” + some other words.

What is a problem that you are trying to solve that usually others can already come up with a solution. Is there any evidence or argument that solves a problem that the solver can’t control for?

I can’t see the letter or the word in the new Thread. Is there a way to see what I am working for? I would be greatly appreciated if anyone can answer my question.

What are the English idioms for solve problems?

What is it like to be in front of a camera?

Why are people so obsessed with reinventing wheels and not realizing things?

To “reinvent the wheel” means to make an unnecessary or needless effort because there is someone who already did the same thing or is already doing the same thing. Irrespective of whether the

subject is aware of their folly or not, it communicated that point to a third party observer.

I think that the term you are looking for is multiple discovery or perhaps convergent invention.
