Either the first (sounds grander) or the second (more everyday).

Not a third. Are all human beings designed with certain specific abilities and powers? Indiciaulars and institutions can be endowed by benefactors who, typically, give them large amounts of money. When doing something/employment is done with an

endowment it is conferred rather than won.
