As a mathematical expression, when denotes vector, can we make a sentence that does the math right?

We multiply the b vector by……
I would tend to put the description of the vector before the word vector, and the name of the vector after the word vector.
“V” is the vector which measures velocity. Thus for example, I might say: The
- vector v is the velocity the
- velocity vector is v the
- velocity vector v… although I
would not reject “The v vector is the velocity” as being wrong.
