Which is a word for having a lot of life experience in a person?

I am trying to think of a word, other than mature, that means “to have a lot of life experience” and that would be able to describe a person with such things. In a sense, life experience is more than simply growing up and learning to live in the world. It is more like, “to be good at inter-act ing with people and “treating positive things as if it were a skill. The

word guile can mean sly intelligence. (from Google search of “define guile”). So with guile you could say that a person has plenty of guile.

I’m lazy, but I’m wise. A wisened old codger who’s seen it all, done it all, tried and failed, tried again only sometimes to the tune of sweet success. Guile is a tool. A weapon. The idea that we are able to do good can be used on good. For instance when damage is minimum in order to effect the greater good. One must sacrifice wholesomeness sometimes to get the job done in order not to get burdened with trying to remain constantly justeous. Is this impossible?

In order to describe the concept of guile, I used it to sneak into my computer lab in my college.
