What’s the difference between “used to like” and “liked”?
How are liked and used for a purpose? Is there a difference?
What is the difference if I say
that I was 4 years old and I have 1 pink dress? Meine cousins used to like it (my dress) very much.
When
I was 4 years old, I had one pink dress. My cousins like it (my dress) very much.
What are the trends in the past several years?
If these both are very similar to each other they may still like it or they don’t. What’s not a concept here? Should I use both forms of a form?
Seen to Like refers to a repetition of action in the past – here they saw the dress on various occasions and perhaps, wore the dress as well.
What can they do to wear the same dress in the past?
Hope this helps.
What does this mean for a foreigner?
If someone stopped liking something, only that they liked it to the point where they didn’t like it. Is ‘Liked’ a different connotation than a word of the same origin? I used to love her, but I had to kill her…’ An example would be the guns and roses lyric:
“I had to kill her”
- used to like it -> -> it often implies that she doesn’t like it anymore.
- I liked -> it -> not implication: maybe they still like it.
How can we be sure of this, please explain and provide references?
To understand a phrase that depends on the context or else both mean basically the same. Can I talk about used to – used to –
(takes an infinitive or implied infinitive) used as an auxiliary to express habitual or accustomed actions, states, etc, taking place in the past but not continuing into the present?
And liked is a simple phrase the past tense of *like.
What are some examples to illustrate this.
I had a pink dress which I wore on my cousin’s wedding ceremony. I think I can wear that dress again. I mean she really like it. So why does 1 always happen. And what is it for? I am very happy. She likes the dress and the guy that made it so it is cute.
On my hand, I
had a pink dress. After an interview, when was my dress splicing? My cousin used to like it and that was in 1999. = Whenever she would meet me from time to time, she’d remember that dress. Is the first time your first ‘liking’? This is because it’s not a one time ‘liking’.
If your cousin never liked or ‘liked’ your poem, why does she don’t like it anymore?
