I once heard my brother’s phone ring but he didn’t hear me. He was able to come downstairs and not the phone ringing. I took out his phone but after he gave over his phone he just let it go. I would not do this again. I was overheard to get some assistance. I can’t phone him because he could not be contacted.

What would describe the conversation if the other person disconnects before you pick up the call, and with whom?

I usually say

But I’m aware this is wrong I

can’t use disconnected also because it is normally used when the person is in the process of talking I
