What is the difference once you get three words in a sentence.? What are grammatical errors?

The boy “told”/”asked”/”said to” his teacher to explain the passage.

The ” told “, if used in that sentence, sounds like the boy issued a charge. How can a boy don’t command his teachers? Why?

The ” asked ” is most appropriate as far as interaction between boys and their teachers goes.

The ” said to ” is similar to ” told “.

Two are grammatically acceptable. The

first consists of a few parts that a writer must use.
