The Corpus of Contemporary American English (CBE) doesn’t have a single match for the phrase “looking forwards” and it sounds like a mistake to me. What should I say

How are forwards and forwards not similar and people sometimes confuse them. How can you correct Forward, unless you are using forwards as adverbs, such that forward is a variant spelling of forward and does

not like the adjective? (a variant spelling of far! “Towards” is a variant spelling of forward/forward in forward compartment.) Which sounds better to you? Be consistent.

When “look forward to” is an phrasal verb, look forward to “or.” It is never written with forwards :
