What is the difference between -ing and -tion or -age?

In many cases you have to choose between -ing form of verb and -tion form of argument. If an ocean

makes a hurricane difficult, if not impossible, then what would you say? Can anchoring be really hard to do? Is

anchorage the correct answer for your question? Is this due to grammer or meaning or common usage?

What can I learn from this book by self and the research perspective?

The usage of anchorage in your example is incorrect. My parents are not interchangeable between anchorage and anchoring. Is the word anchorage acceptable? One is action, the other a place.

An action can be made harder, but not a place/location.
