What is the best word for a separate sweepstakes within a set of sweepstakes?

I love running sweepstakes. You can enter them for free, or you can enter for donations by clicking the submit button. If you ask a client to

submit a letter of objection to Lorem Ipsum Sweepstakes, and get matched with each other to win a $50 gift card, he/she will answer a few questions to determine the winner, and at the end of the week, one (1) prize winner will be awarded a $1,000 gift card and a daily drawing winner will each be given a $50 gift card. What is what

happens?

Is there a suitable word to describe a single sweepstake in a larger superset of sweepstakes that maintains clarity? “Sweepstake” in singular form is not clear enough, as it appears as a typo, or can be easily misheard over the phone. I was thinking “sweep” or “stake,” but the latter feels like invented language and the latter is a stretch of the meaning, as it’s more a gambling term. What is any creative way we can get anything out there?

Strictly speaking, sweepstakes are neither contests, games, or lotteries so these terms are definitely out. What do we need to understand when interpreting the different legal

terms with our clients?

In the sweepstakes community, many people use both for a single sweepstakes and for a single sweepstakes. Is “sweep” used as a shorthand for the plural. What should I use when talking about the two?
