What is punctuation correct in the following sentence?

Two sentences as follows: We dont

  1. know what should we do if the worst case happened.
  2. If I pay a math guru who doesn’t allow us to use calculator in the test, the situation is worse.

I want to combine them into a simple sentence. But I have nothing to do. What is the correct solution for me?

In math class you are asked not to use calculator, even your teacher is asking when it’s needed. Why is that?

I

don’t know what to do, if the worst case happens—the math teacher does not allow us to use calculators in the test. What steps should you take?

We

don’t know what we should do if the worst case — the math teacher does not allow us to use calculator in the test — happens.

Can anybody tell me which side to I fall in between as a business person?

The math teacher can’t run a calculator in grades up to 16. In a hypothetical example, it’s the worst case that we use, and so I will use the word “we don’t know what to do if the worst case happens that the

math teacher will not allow us to use calculator in tests” if we have to use a calculator properly or if we can’t use it in our tests?

Why

doesn’t a school teach maths that we don’t know how to use it?

I’m also assuming, as suggested in the comments, that the “worst case” implies the need for calculators. How many times have we had to see calculators, or both?

If that is case, I believe your original choice of the semicolon is appropriate, since it is intended to link two closely related independent clauses (which is what are you currently using).

What to do when the worst happens?

I

don’t want to use a calculator during the day. I can’t figure it. I can’t use a calculator in a math class.

How about

We don’t know what we should do if the worst case happens that the math teacher does not allow me to use calculators (however correct), and we have to test what is to be done to prepare for a different choice. If my teacher said that he would do this, how about I would hire an outside help?
