What is a term for strengthening contact between employee and his organisation?

I’m looking for an alternative to ‘Employee retention’. I interpret retention as a defensive term, while I mean (strengthening) the bond between an employee and their company in a positive way.
The term employee retention is applied when evaluating a bond from a company’s perspective. Many times I forget to mention this when I say employee retention. I just want more cash for it.
In Dutch, we have the (to me) more neutral term medewerkersbinding. In German there is the equivalent term Employerbindung ( Wikipedia, using Google Translate).
Can such a term be used in English?
Why don’t we just take a break from traditional Chinese dishes and drink?
