What does the word Reflect (by definition) mean in this sentence?
Once I was done optimizing the soil for my new low water consumption plan I was ready to replace all my plants. I decided to have plants arranged according to the amount of water needed for them to survive. Also, the amount of clay necessary.

if I’m wrong or not, so I decided to ask.
In English reflect means be consonant with, or “in keeping with”. The plant will be arranged along a gradient, perhaps, from those needing less water to those needing the most water, with the water entering the soil so that it reaches the thirstiest plants first.
