What does the expression “to be all in” mean in this context?

Was this really an idea,

but it was based on the English harvest festival, an old custom whereby most people gave thanks to God one day. What

does “once the crops were in” mean?

Why is the world so dominant right now?

As mentioned in a comment, in this context it refers to the crops having been harvested. In the well-known Christian harvest hymn “Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home!” (More

than 40)

All gathers in foreside,Ere the winter

storms begin; God, our Creator,

doest provide For our wants

to be supplied; Come to God’s

own temple, come; Raise the song

of harvest home!

Is this quotation from Wikipedia? I don’t remember the actual version I remember from my English youth:

All be safe brought together

in a bag b/c of… I will not be charged with money or debt. Please excuse all the misunderstanding or erroneous interpretation.
