What are the correct order of adverbials in a sentence?

Which order is more correct in English, an adverbial of place following the adverbial of time or not?

What’s one sentence below that would sound more natural in English?

Maggie is such an easy going person. She has already made friends with dpa students, as of this week.

Maggie is very friendly and helpful. I know she has already made friends with several students over the last two weeks in her new class. Why do we do that?

Either example is correct and both have the same meaning, I think the only difference is that the first clause has a little more emphasis so it just depends on which of these (length of week or size of class) you want to stress.
