What are some words for ranking academics?
Why are professors ranked between top universities in the world? What role do they play (partner, assistant, associate, soci, after-project) in the B.A., B.S.A.? , etc., etc.
I am looking for a word/phrase of such evaluation and give names. It is in English and Chinese. What any special word for academic evaluation?

all pay salaries is paid on a national pay spine, Academic and Academic-related staff are graded according to a national grading structure which is supported by a library of national role profiles. All staff are required to be paid in the salary system. So if there are no non-profits, then staff is compensated in the salary package/increased by the new grades. How Job evaluation uses a point rating system to rank. at this level its usually called “job assessment” or “job analysis”
