What are doubles? What are the names of both parties of referencing?

If document A references document B, is there any technical term to describe the difference between A’s and B’s role? What is the function of B the referent? How can I know about A?

What are some good ways to get into an industry – a company or person?

What’s the use

of terminology from https://en.wikipedia.org/? + other terms from Wikipedia? org/wiki/Cross-reference#Structure_of_a_cross_reference

I’d say :

A: referring document (which contains references or cross-references)
C: referenced content (or item, section, etc.)

In regards to the wording of my question, it’s easy to misinterpret your answer.

Document A is, literally, the document. Document B is the reference. Document A

is “the source”. Document C is “a reference”.
