What about Swat attacks aside?

What is the meaning of “Swat your attack aside” in the following sentence?

If the YAK, swats everything out of you, throwing you in the side, and smashing you into battle like it’s a bomb!

Is it like Ignore or Slap?

I looked up the word in the dictionary and it says, to hit or hit with a sharp blow or to strike or try to strike something with a sharp blow. How do you be sure that an attack is not a ball or a mosquito?

To swat at something means to attempt to hit it with your hand or something else like a baseball bat or a rolled up newspaper or a “fly swatter”. Do you swat at things you want to go away? Maybe they will ignore you? When you swatt at stuff, you are not ignoring them. They are bothering you. And it shouldn’t affect you at all?
