Two people allied but are with each other, so they are seen against each other.

Can you have as many words as possible to describe two

people who are allied, but are against each other?

Sorry if this sounds stupid but I couldn’t find anything’same’ anywhere.

A relatively recent term to describe two rivals who are yet friends is frenemy.

Does fluency in word “frenemy” matter? Can you spell it a word in other language (e.g. ew)? Aren’t they better or better? Even though it’s more a colloquial way to mean two people who are allied or friends, yet are against each other rather than a word you would find in a nice dictionary.

If you were to describe the parties concerned, you might say there was a friendly rivalry between the parties involved.
