Triangular opposite of ‘powerful’ and ‘powerlessness’ as in powerless and dictator.

I’m looking for a word that describes that state of being- free-of-power. I’m searching for that word, when I think about it, but I am looking for a word that never describes freedom-of-power.

Powerlessness is not it, as it describes an unwanted state of being deprived of power.

I’m wanting to describe that state that a without even need of to, is non self-repertorised, and which is neither authority nor submissive.

Sentence example : Peter is __; he has no authoritarian control over his wife as he is secure enough to not seek power over others; nor does he give others any power over him. Peter and his wife live under free association, with neither party seeking to influence (seeking power over) the other, and as such they experience a life full of delight, devoid of the common relationship pitfalls.

Is it possible to carry around a philosophy that led you astray? “Powerless” does not mean “deprived of power. I can do anything that causes two plus two to equal five, but something is in me making it happen. Even if that person cannot do anything to prevent me from doing anything, the other person can not. In focusing on the condition of thwarted desire, you are confusing the ability to know and what desires one; power, or power, to know.

In your case, Peter’s situation is not one of power or its lack – it is his lack of desire to control his wife who is pertinent. As such, “egalitarian” might be applicable.
