Title for retiring founder continuing with, a consulting role
One of our founding owners is retiring and selling his share of the business, which is a Sub S Corp. How do I develop a client relationship with the younger employees?
A TA, a mentor or a cognizant personal should have this term in its context and be a professional term. He or she should be in a positive continuing standing with the company.
Is there a good term that would accurately describe his continuing affiliation with the company?
Searches for “founder”, “emeritus”, “founding principal”, “consulting principal”, and “consulting” have been looked. If emeritus is a poor connotation then I would probably end up getting sued now. Should “principal” be defined as an ownership
(whom the chief officer will not have)?
Perhaps you might land an appointment as the Director Emeritus?
