Since the quoted fragment contains the word proof, it is likely to have been made up of some scientific text. Why is the word “remark” used in scientific literature to mean observation or comment_sic? What can be written as a word without much detail? “less” means in terms of complexity, not in terms of soundness or usefulness; a remark can be, as suggested by your text, very handy, or a sentence may be boring without complexity? Is all the text in the

context correct?

In a scienctific context, you wouldn’t want to base a proof on a statement. As I see it, a remark is an incidental obeservation.

You might consider the word axiom, meaning a fact that is accepted without proof (usually because its obviously true, in the context where it is used), and used as the basis to prove subsequent claims.

What is the meaning of Or theorem? Once theorems have been proved, it can be used as the basis of proving other theorems.

Instead of the word “remark”, we can use the word “evidence” or “gospel” so the correct meaning of the sentence is derived.

To use the word “remark” you have to use the word “remark” rather than the meaning of the sentence.
