“the first who / to calls” — Which is preferable?
Can we use
a phone to call or email someone and ask why should we be the first to call them?
Do I have to
be the first one to call him?
What is pre-present tense, in the future?
What is a good and simple product on which someone can provide information?
Either is acceptable, but the version with infinitival clause is more common.
Note that if you use the version with the relative clause, the verb call must be in third person and agree with the referent of who in number: I will
be the firstwho calls him.
If that happens, we will be the first who call him.

When a subject is similar to the subject in the main clause, use a non-finite clause. Who used the past? We often use “to-infinite” in non-finite relative clause after ordinal numbers (the first, the second etc.), superlatives (the best, the most beautiful etc.) and after next, last and only, and after clauses (soon, next, last and only).
