Synonym for “compelling”/”inviting” starting with R . “Significant”/”inviting” is a verb

When I originally

wrote “I think one of the most compelling parts of being an engineer is the holistic nature of the

job”, I thought about a better word later to replace “comeplling”. In Chinese, I can’t remember the word. What I remember is that it starts with an “r” (possibly “re”) and means something along the lines of “compelling” or “inviting” What were the most trite words of

that phrase but it isn’t “regenerative”?
