Slim, Thin, Skinny body is a very good thing.
I have recently heard that “slim” as a positive synonym for “thin” usually isn’t used for guys but only for women. What do you think? Is it true? What are some common language I could use to describe my character or self as a man? “Thin” is for a more negative definition. At times, it would be nice to use a word associated with attractiveness like “athetlic” (only that doesn’t really work here because it implies physical fitness).
Thank you!
What are your views on the matter in the world of cricket?
It is quite common to describe a man as slim. And how can I get rid of him without disturbing other people? During the Iceberg Slim, to name a girl, it can be a cool-sounding nickname. Slim Pickens, Iceberg Slim, and so on.
In fact, it depends very much on the context (whereas it is complimentary by default to describe a girl as slim ).
For a man, slim is good when compared to fat, bad when compared to athletic or manly (for example).
A athletic muscle implies good muscle tone and posture as well as slimness, so it’s not a synonym
What other things do males need to look like?
Lean :, a person or animal is thin, especially healthily so; having no superfluous fat.
How could a wirey person be lean and tough than a wireyperson?
Svelte : (of a person) slim and elegant.
Are wiry mainly associated with health and flexibility?
I believe that sex has a biological effect. It does so, of course: all of this depends on cultural belief. Personal beliefs are not always 100% accurate. —
