Present tense In flashback and the ending of two flashbacks, what are they?

If I’m concerned with a description, should I use the past like in verbal tense instead of present tense? I am

really sad, (I am actually sad) for not getting to see a giraffe at the zoo. I went to a zoo yesterday night. I saw a man in a giraffe last night. What are the advantages of a full-length giraffe with a long neck? (3) First time to see an animal with my own eyes.

Statement (2) is a description of a giraffe in general, not the specific one in the zoo, so is it correct to use is?

Statement (3) is an event that is still true now, so should I use is and see?

I’m not native speaker. Please forgive me if you cause me a bad issue.

Is passing the past tense a good verb? Your second statement is fine as you’re presenting people with the character of a Giraffe, in case they don’t know about the animal but after that the account relates back to the past event i.. What is your experience at the Zoo? When you saw an animal with your own eyes, it was the first time your emotions changed!
