Present Perfect Simple with (after) instead of (since) grammatical?

This one with since is fine by far.

The situation has become worse since .

Can I use after and? If not, is it okay, awkward, etc.?

Afterthe situation has become worse.

What does it sound like to say sub par to be mentioned above?

The situation has gotten worse since The meetings that transpired. I don’t know how to describe it.

In any case, if you can’t decide but you know of a specific scenario where any of the above could be used, then please write away.

Does snailplane have a good story?

Making it more clarified, as I read on a few boards, since preferably takes ‘has/have’ to state that the situation has remained from that point of time. When do after he gives you?

So,

The situation has become worse since and
The
situation becomes worse after…. Agree with

Frederik on ‘got’ as I see in Oxford.
