“Point of View” & “Approach”

I’m writing a document in which I need to state that my work is unsupervised instead of supervised After reading these sentence, I don’t know whether they themselves are correct or in general better to explain this situation.

From an unsupervised decision making point of view,

what’s the correct way, “doing” or

“decision-making”?

What do someone explain in a simple way?

I think it’s hard to know the full context, but I believe “from an unsupervised decision-making point of view” can be beneficial. Generally, if the approach to decision-making depends on whether you are supervised, the other phrase might also be appropriate.

The word decision-making is used as a compound adjective, so it should be

hyphenated. Where a “decision making” is important the context can be ambiguous.
