Now someone is on a round of rounding. Maybe it is just me?
When our elementary school inspected us all, she usually sees what we were doing behind the scenes, always leaving them alone, so our principal always leaves with little information, so she can inspect the students and keep them informed. Other inspections are not made. Now, my teacher said:
Sit up straight, Ms.X is on a round. Then she said I was going to finish her round. Why?
Is the use of on round natural?
What are the main topics around which I am raising my hands?
If it were the normal word in school I might use “round”, “patrol”, “tour”. This normal word is also also ” round ” in British withstanding language (same meaning)
