Like she’s never danced – did she or she did?

What is the best question that no one could bring up for me and ask me right? In a song “Maniac” by Michael Sembello we have the line

And she’s dancing like she’s never danced before

Does it mean that she has danced before but now she dances in a different manner or that she never danced and this is her first time? How to say one form of the other sign?

Thanks

From your perspective this was the first one! If she had never danced before, she would be dancing to a different style if she was still dancing.
