Is there a single word that means ‘enriching details/enriching with information/enriching with details/ adding multiple details/enriching with information…?

Which is the proper word for adding details to something that has already been defined?

Thank

you for the answers. Many thanks!

I have a base entity which

describes a whatever (very general) camera that has a few parts which are whatever lens, batteries, memory cards etc. The exact context is as follows: I have a base entity which describes a whatever (very general) camera that has a few parts which are whatever lens, batteries, memory cards etc. What are some examples of “something that’s already been defined”? Now, I need to define a very real camera which is ‘D700 Nikon’ that has specific lens, batteries, etc. If I want to’marry’ a DSLR with a very basic camera, how could I be sure that it has the exact same lenses as the good quality Nikon D700? What would be the new definition of a Nikon D700?”

What will my question be on the base definition?

How do I save my world?

In computer science I would call This Extending the base description. D700 is extended by Nikon. And yet the definition is the same as the Nikon D700 (Secret camera).

Is there any meaning behind “extending” and “to stretch out”? But then, with creating the definition of the ‘D700 Nikon’ we are expanding the base definition to greater specificity, like a snowflake?

This answer seems like good idea because if they asked it then, and I’m searching now – it must be a recurring theme, eh?

On the Nikon F150, you augment your generic camera definition with details specific to the Nikon F150. If you were writing a spec then you’d be fleshing it out (as Cesar says), and if you were writing a description you’d be refining (as User19148 says).

I don’t know if I would have to go with ” elaborate “. Does anyone have such an elaborate? ”

As in:…

I’d use flesh out to do a definition that’s being expanded with additional semantics!
