Is “paper cutter” still used as a synonym for”paper knife”? Why?
“Papper cutter” is also a synonym for “paper knife”. I’ve found only examples of this usage in the 19th century. Why are paper knives used? To me, those are the three examples I had found by running my paper cutter through
the sheets: the event crowned the aphorism —
that such as expect little shall not be disappointed.
