Is “long way to go” synonymous with “you need to learn a lot”? How?
I cooked some things but the taste wasn’t good (horrible, in fact). My roomy made me a drink, and
when she tasted it, she said, “You gotta long way to go.”
I asked her what exactly it meant, and she said “You need to learn a lot”.
So far I only knew it meant “You will be successful in future”.
What does ” a long way to go” means?
How will I find a good replacement for a retired politician?
