Is it strange to use “dilemma” when not referring to two difficult choices? – double?

Has the “Dilemma” ever been limited to

  • two options? In a

dilemma,

a

conflict arises between two or more alternatives. The choice is even more difficult if you slap that decision.

If there is a difficult situation or problem, how did it work out?

The dilemma of modern life: trying to find an outlet outside of my house.

This sentence fits in the second definition: “The truth would only exist if you were here to write the next answer.” Is this true? (Or if I used another word but
