Is it necessary to determine the subconscious vs. the unconscious in the Big Bang Theory because they are contradictory?
The Big Bang Theory episode 11, episode 15:
Leonard: “I didn’t intend to write about Penny… maybe subconsciously I did.” “I
believe you mean unconsciously dear very happy Leonard’s mother: “.” “The
intelligent person wrote here a post on SE and said “Unconscious is the proper word to use)and it also means you are still passing out. ” I understand why it was said in SE and if it was not then what can somebody do about it?

Leonard’s mother is a therapist, thereby probably conversant with psychoanalysis, in which the technical term used by Freud is “the unconscious as in mind.” Freud has had three levels of mind. She usually uses the
word words “inspiration” and “incredible”. And when you have lapse of tongue or bungled act, this speech and action respectively are said to be due to the unconscious, the deepest level and not just under the surface (subconscious). Freud was not able to locate lapses to a subconscious level. It is said to emanate from the unconscious.
