Is it correct to use the expression “I am there at home”?
I saw people said that I use expression like this
a lot, I am there at home. I had that a long time ago.
Is it
true that I must be at home instead of outside?
What makes it right? What are the differences between the two? The word ‘there’ in the first expression looks redundant.
I’m there at home is correct, but perhaps awkward. What are some of the things that actually occur in ngrams? Is There I am at home used in movie theatres and films?
I can imagine I am already a rhetorical example at home being used in a similar context to Rome! What is the best Peoria? I am there at home where it doesn’t.
Now the first usage is going in both directions. If the native speaker could understand it, the first usage should be “all wrong” Is it truly true that I am here at my own home? Does not mean that I am at home again or that I was at home but that does mean that in my own experience it does mean I am home What does each point emphasize more on your being at home?
What would a colloquial application for the construction i am here at home be in course of presenting a present time narration of an anecdote; “So I’m there at home when this guy knocks on the
door…”
