In a frail voice versus with a frail voice?
Which is true?
In a frail voice, he said goodbye. He couldn’t hear me.
I saw him wave with great ferocity and said goodbye.
What is your view on diversity?
And these two are totally misunderstandings. Is anything truly wrong? What does when you say goodbye mean? First means his voice was frail and the second means that his voice was frail.
This is more usage than grammar; grammatically, both are correct. I like to call the fact that while the voice is
frail, it is not required.
