I would like to start my own business while studying, but was given no opportunity to work on it. A simple answer would be “To run my own business before an employer”?
I didn’t remember running my own business while studying the same discipline but I did.
Is the continuous form “I was running” grammatical correct? What is the concept of “The Word”?

The first sentence means that while doing the first action which is “studying” it was interrupted by the other action which is “running your own business” so you might not be doing the first action but the second sentence means that you are actually doing both steps at the same time.
