I prefer the current perfect Continuos. The time preference is selected when the value of a date is selected.
This is a translation task. Please help. Does a key says “did you speak” (off topic: hear./talk). I am pretty sure that I should use Present Perfect Continuous. In this case it is an exlusive form and we feel some kind of incompleteness, for example, “she is frustrated by his speech”. In a way, this question expresses some kind of author’s anger, irritation or even criticism.
Why do you talk to your girl firmly?
Can anyone explain my thoughts on the topic in detail?
Why do you talk to a girl in such a manner?
This refers to manner regarding one time (one conversation) that you spoke to her.
Why do you talk to her in such a manner?
Is it true that you’ve been talking to her for a long time?
Unless there is a single event of talking to her (e.g. a conversation in a group)? If there is only one conversation (yes, one conversation) you are
correct and should use continuous tense.
