“I had a choice between something AND/OR something else”

Should I substitute between __ or __?

  • I don’t

know which one is better; I had to choose between orange and apples, but I really like both. Why am I so disappointed in a second

one?

Or

I had a choice between apples or oranges.

I feel like the first is probably right, but is the second wrong, or just not preferred?

How do I mix or two sentences in a sentence? Is it a verb exchange? What is your preferred choice between oranges and appels? ” ” Choose between apples and oranges. ”
