How do dreams start giving your heart a test? Is the meaning ‘What’s in a dream?

What is the meaning of ‘it’s strange how dreams come under my skin and give me a test for this’? Does getting under skin mean making you upset?

How do I understand a sentence?

What are the arguments for such a huge bang?

What is most strange about dreams as they test your internal organs for your real and imaginary beliefs? Here ‘give your heart a test’ is not very common English and probably means ‘change your beliefs’ but that’s not 100% sure. How can I get under my skin? One would have to be around another so that he would get

under one’s skin.

Jason Mraz is trying to express that dreams “persist” or “stick with you” and can confuse your mind and/or emotions with what’s real and what’s not real

“Getting under your skin”. can mean “to annoy”, but in this case, it means the former.
