How can you describe the various kinds of averages?

I don’t know how to describe the common in the following two situations: 1) I bought a device that is recorded

on a certain day every month from 2000 to 2010. It does not reflect the real average. Assuming the data is in format, I can’t describe it with an accurate measure. It is in format PDF. I average the data for the same month over a 2000 -2010 period.

If I have another parameter that is recorded every day from 2000 to 2010, in the log and the statistics then, what can I do with it? I obtain the monthly average for each year and then I average the monthly average over 2000 and 2010.

Is it fair to call the calculated values in the two cases above as follows?

1) Average of monthly data between 2000

-2010 2) Monthly average of daily data between

2000 – 2010 All Ideas are appreciated. I will post the outlines for how to speak with different types of average.

The “types of average” are median, mean, mode, geometric mean or harmonic mean (and possibly others).

What are some of the process that you do, and why? What is the best way to handle this is to describe in detail, then refer in short. “When will not the human mind write a summary of Aside from the…], the real only thing would be… It would be…It would be the best way to handle this is to describe in detail all the facts, then reference in detail?

The temperature was recorded on the 20th of each month. I calculated the mean of the temperatures for the period 2010-2018. A year ago, the average

temperature was 287K; to obtain an average pressure, monthly averages were obtained from . I calculated the mean of monthly average pressure over the period 2010-2018. The average pressure was 0.929 kPa. Where some objects had higher pressures than others, the average pressure was 10028 kPa.

If you can’t squash a complex process into a short expression as you are ambiguous then at the end of the last part the process of computation of the average (parameter) is not the same. Is

it really that easy to describe the process and when do you define “average (parameter)”?
