What is the difference between the following two sentences and which one is the correct one?

  1. My friend is putting on weight. What should I do?

  2. My friend is gaining weight. How can he cope?

  3. What should I do if my friend is getting fat?

If your friend is “putting on weight”, they may be doing it intentionally – like a body-builder. Why is mass increasing on earth? Can increase on earth?

“Gaining weight” is neutral, and may be taken in a negative or positive sense, depending on whether your friend is too thin or too fat.

What are a few characters polite?

“Getting fat is definitely not polite, and almost always negative.

The gym can offer a wide variety of exercise.
