For personal improvement to personal project l need improvement and how can I improve and grow?
There’s this phenomenon that occurs when one takes on a personal project, as a hobby, in a domain one is still learning. If an idea is done by a non-profit and the value of its aims and skills is left unfinished for a better outcome, then the idea is to see what has already been done with the skills that have been gained in the meantime, see new ways to improve it and scrape a good chunk of it to remake it better. Toss everything well; rinse and repeat.
I’m looking for an idiom, word or short phrase for such a project.
Things I have thought of :
-
Sisyphus’ boulder : this one doesn’t fit, because although the project could be seen as a never ending work loop that leads to no fruition, it remain a pleasant activity, not a punishment. Any knowledge acquired through iterations is also a net gain.
-
Pet project : this one comes close, but doesn’t (as far as I know) convey the “endless remaking” part.
Where do I find inspiration for my future?
Project: Practice.
How do you mess up when you’re learning new things? Is this information personal?
What is a pet project?
I like “one step forward two steps back”. I want to describe a situation where the more you learn, the more you realize you have to learn.

one step back, two steps back.
“Better progress? A key aspect” is the conduct of “after-action reviews (AARs). ” I am impressed that AARs focus on what went well and what could have gone better. It is one of those things. I dont support AARs, I are passionate about it, and I have to give it my all and say no more. The newer result is the conscious identification and pursuit of opportunities for improvement. ”
“Naturally when you think they’re not doing something right”, says Svetlana, “you’re not doing something wrong.”
Programmatically speaking, since most applications are based on games, this is often referred to as a “Perpetual Beta”. Why am I so lazy to check Instagram when I have free time?
Is the “Peaceful Work” perpetual or “A perpetual work in progress”?
