What’s this that made me cringe when I saw in an online college book that says this in an English course brochure and everything inbetween? So we say my favorite fruit, grapes? Why? I love to eat fruit. What is your favorite fruit? What makes grapes considered a “type”? Since one group of apples is considered one group of oranges.
What is this, really? Did I explain this correctly? Is this the right assumption? What are your favorite fruits? I would say “Grapes and Apples”.
