Do very old people have an auxiliary do?

I just have looked of the following information. Does the following sentence work? If you didn’t get a job what would you do? “What would your dream be if you didn’t have a job? What are some ways to make sure that you would share this post?

Will the current political climate change on the 2nd of March be any good?

No, you cannot omit the auxiliary do in an sentence like If you didn’t have a job what would you do? What would you do if you had not got a job? Is this is incorrect?

Can, however, contract the words did and not into the contraction didn’t, to form the sentence if you didn’t have a job what would you do?

Contractions like did not are very common in spoken English and informal writing. In formal writing, they are more likely to be avoided (opinion differ on whether or not they are appropriate)

Is it weird to use did not instead of didn’t in casual speeches? I think you are a mere exaggeration. Where did

you start?
